The Super Easy Formula for Fast Fat Loss

The Super Easy Formula for Fast Fat Loss

The other day I was out to breakfast and after we sat down, the waiter brought us a medium size platter piled high with all types of pastries such as gingerbread, zucchini bread, cranberry bread and other pastries that were literally dripping with sugar frosting.

I then looked around me and at every single table there were the same platters we were given that were piled high with bakery goodies, but also the patrons breakfast plates all had something sweet as well such as pancakes, decadent waffles with whipped cream piled on it a mile high, granola, oatmeal with brown sugar, yogurt with sugar, syrup, fruit juice and more.

The reason I am sharing this with you is to convey the importance of balanced blood sugar in optimal health and weight loss.

And here it is: in all likelihood, this is the first meal these people had eaten that day because it is breakfast. And unfortunately, the first foods that went into their bodies were sugar and refined white flour. This is important because they presumably had not eaten since the night before and thus their blood sugar was already low (this is why breakfast ‘break the fast’ is important). Eating sugar and/or refined white flour will spike your blood sugar super high and then it will be followed by a super low drop – steep.

This up and down blood sugar wreaks havoc on our bodies and our weight via inflammation and more. Now imagine having super low blood sugar already, spiking it high with all of the sugar and flour ingestion and your blood sugar goes on the roller coaster ride of its life creating weight gain and poor health. So what can we do about it?

This: The key formula for healthy, fast and sustainable fat loss is:

Balanced Blood Sugar = Steady Insulin = Weight Loss.

Seems too simple right? It is simple. The key is to create a balance in your blood sugar so that insulin, which is your fat storage hormone, will not be triggered in excess. Insulin is like a pac man – it likes to gobble up that sugar in our blood and store it in our cells for energy at a later time. The problem is with consistent and excessive intake of refined foods such as sugar and white flour products, it becomes a catalyst for weight gain or FatFlammation.

FatFlammation (the direct effect of weight gain and low-level inflammation) is a result of an excess of insulin caused by refined carbohydrates and created due to the ingestion of too many refined and processed foods.

Making one critical change can help you drop weight: drop the sugar and especially the high-fructose corn syrup found in sodas. One can of soda contains 10-15 tsp. of sugar.

If you are addicted to sugar (and most people are), consider taking the supplement Chromium Picolinate (200 mcg.) daily. This mineral is largely deficient in most individuals and you will begin to feel your sugar and carb cravings disappear within three days. This supplement is highly effective.

Other changes you can implement would be to reduce excess carbohydrates and replace with healthy fats such as olive oil, avocados, and fatty fish. Adding more protein and veggies to every meal will keep your blood sugar balanced. Cardio and Strength training will stabilize blood sugar as well.

Weight loss isn’t rocket science, it is having the right information and then taking action, this is your success. ~
